Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality expert reports for arbitration and court proceedings
- Conduct hull & machinery damage surveys worldwide
- Investigate fuel quality and machinery-related failures
- Provide loss prevention advice to maritime stakeholders
- Lead business development and client relationship management
- Mentor and develop the marine engineering team
- Support multidisciplinary teams including naval architects and master mariners
- STCW Chief Engineer Unlimited (III/2) Certificate of Competency
- Significant seagoing experience, including sailing as Chief Engineer
- Strong technical expertise in marine engineering and machinery systems
- Experience in marine consultancy and expert witness work highly desirable
- Business development and client-facing experience advantageous
- Prior shore-based superintendent experience preferred
- Physically capable of conducting shipyard and onboard inspections worldwide
