Faststream have been selected to partner with a world leader in environmental solutions for the Maritime and Energy sectors. They are currently looking for a Global Sales Director to lead all commercial activity within the Maritime and Shipping sector. This role reports directly to the Group CEO.

The Role:
  • Driving growth in revenue through securing successful partnerships across the global Shipping Industry
  • Taking ownership for Sales Proposals, Bids & Tenders, Client Presentations and collating all input to produce high quality documentation
  • Managing the total sales process and engagements in supporting the entire sales team throughout the sales cycle
  • Ensuring the After Sales handover is adhered to
Requirements:

Above all else, our Client is looking for a dynamic individual with a proven track record of developing and quickly scaling up business within the International Shipping sector. Other requirements include –
  • Extremely well-networked across target organisations at a Decision Maker or C-Suite level
  • A broad understanding of vessel systems, preferably ‘environmental technologies’ and how to sell their value proposition
  • Dynamic and fast-moving salesperson, can deliver shorter sales cycles and manage the end-to-end sales process
  • Superb interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication
