Job Title: Operations Manager
Location: Veracruz, Mexico.
Summary: 15+ years of experience in natural gas processing plants, both onshore and offshore, primarily in Mexico. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of asset operations, including personnel management, budgeting, procurement, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Directly reports to Chief Operating Officer and company Directors.
  • Supervises all onshore and offshore gas processing plant operations.
  • Provides regular reports on asset status to senior management.
  • Manages a diverse workforce and facilitates training and recruitment.
  • Develops and maintains standard operating procedures and ensures compliance with safety and environmental practices.
  • Manages project and operational expenditures, budget forecasting, and procurement.
  • Evaluates and audits suppliers, maintains inventory, and oversees logistics.
  • Implements digital reporting and maintenance logging systems.
  • Ensures compliance with local safety and environmental regulations.
  • Monitors equipment health and addresses maintenance needs.
  • Communicates with company management on operational matters.
  • Facilitates a safe and efficient working environment for all stakeholders.
Requirements/Knowledge/Competencies:
  • 15-20 years of experience in natural gas plant operations.
  • Experience with PEMEX projects.
  • Technical graduate degree.
  • Proficiency in project management and maintenance.
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
  • Knowledge of equipment reliability and maintenance strategies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and commitment to safety and quality excellence.
