Job Description

We are seeking a Fleet Technical Officer to join our client based in London. This role will support Fleet Managers and Vessel Managers in monitoring and maintaining ship performance and customer satisfaction, as well as managing costs and safety.

Responsibilities include but not be limited to:
  • Monitoring and scheduling OCIMF Vetting Inspections for Project Group ships
  • Monitoring vessel certification and scheduling surveys
  • Raising purchase orders and monitoring status and invoices
  • Appointing Agents for port calls and preparing Port Reports
  • Maintaining KPI records and updating PMS overdue records
  • Supporting technical library upkeep and industry web portals
  • Assisting Fleet management team and projects as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine or Engineering related subject or at least 1 year in a technical department of a comparable shore organization in a similar role
  • Previous experience as a 4th Engineer or above rank on ocean-going vessels is also accepted
