Are you passionate about shipping operations and keen to contribute to performance excellence across a growing fleet? We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Fleet Performance/Tendering Assistant to join our clients dynamic Ops/Tech team.
In this pivotal role, you'll work across multiple departments to support technical submissions for vessel tenders and lead initiatives to improve fleet performance. Key Responsibilities Tender Support
- Develop, document, and optimise the tender support process.
- Lead and coordinate technical input for vessel tenders (CSOV/CTV), ensuring high-quality, timely submissions.
- Liaise with Operations, Technical, and HSE teams to gather and validate required information.
- Analyse client requirements and produce tailored technical and HSE responses.
- Maintain and update a library of standardised tender documents and vessel data.
- Coordinate tender kick-off meetings and ensure ongoing post-fixture monitoring to meet contractual obligations.
- Produce and manage TCP summary sheets for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on fleet performance metrics (safety, operations, technical, compliance).
- Support and implement fleet improvement initiatives across departments.
- Develop and oversee a standardised internal performance review framework.
- Prepare quarterly performance review reports for clients.
- Monitor compliance with statutory certifications (Flag, Class, Insurance).
- Previous experience or internship in shipping, sailing as oow, or maritime operations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Effective communicator and confident team player.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with shipping platforms (e.g., IMOS, Q88) is advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of shipping markets and Incoterms is a plus.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, or a related field.
