Key Responsibilities 
  
* Responsible for daily and routine activities related to the management of seafaring personnel, for assigned vessels.
* Apply fair and consistent manning policies including promotion opportunities.
* Implement and comply with the company’s Safety Management System as applicable.
* Seek Employee References where appropriate.
* Approve appropriately qualified candidates for deployment to the Company’s managed vessels in accordance with level of responsibility given.
* Arrange and assist with the interview of senior officer candidates.
* Ensure Principals and Customers are notified of senior officer changes in accordance with their instructions, including officer experience matrices.
* Monitor changes and help plan sea staff relief programme.
* Notify vessels weekly of planned crew relief schedules.
* Check and approve manning invoices when required and monitor reasons for standby pay.
