Job Description

Working for a well established and market leading provider in their offshore sector, the Fleet Operations Manager manages the movement of vessels globally in and out of countries in accordance with organizational policy and procedure complying with relevant local, country and international laws and processes.

Responsibilities include -

Liaising with the vessel Master as the first point of contact for daily operations; updating vessel schedules and schedule forecasts.
 
Researching, nominating and monitoring local suppliers and port agents for the vessels, managing day to day processing of accounts and vessel budgets, purchasing requests and producing reports as requested.

You will help to improve the operational systems, processes and policies to support better management reporting, information flow, organizational planning and ultimately operational excellence.
 
Continually collaborate with Masters, Port Engineering, Submersibles, Compliance and other Department Heads to optimize port activities and inspections.

We are looking for someone self-motivated and results focused, keen to develop and grow. 

You will ideally be degree educated and have experience working in port or vessel operations. You may have sailed as an officer and/or worked as a Vessel Operator or similar. 

You must have the right to live and work in the United States as sponsorship is not available for this role.
