Faststream recruitment are recruiting for a part-time Financial Controller based in Central London. This role is in the shipping sector.
This role covers a broad range of financial duties closely supporting the Finance Director.
These include the accounting for the individual vessels, revenue and bunker calculations, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and the finance management relating to these vessels. Cash flow forecasting is an important part of this.
The role will also include the day to day accounting for the administrative LLP and company. This will include debtor and creditor management, VAT returns and bank reconciliations.
The individual would also be helping with the auditing and tax requirements, as well as production of statutory accounts for UK and foreign companies.
There will be other ad hoc duties as well.
The role is expected to be 3 days per week.
