The role is part of a small team overseeing and managing the outsourced finance and accounting function. The company is focused on enabling the green transition of the shipping industry.
- Oversight of the finance and accounting activities outsourced to 3rd party, and close daily cooperation with the service provider. The outsourced activities include bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, end-of-month closing, budgeting and reporting
- Analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports
- Controlling
- Follow-up on annual budgets and periodic forecasts
- Participating in preparation and maintaining of cash-flow analysis as needed
- Participating in the audit process for all group companies
- Financial transactions
- Respond to inquiries regarding financial performance
For this role you will need relevant experience in finance, preferably from the shipping industry.
