A leading and dynamic trading house, specializing in the chemical market is expanding their operations, seeking a skilled Finance Specialist with Audit Experience to join our finance team.

Roles and Responsibilities 
  • Conduct regular financial audits to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis reports, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather financial data and insights for decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Identify areas of financial risk and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
  • Stay updated with relevant financial regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to improve financial processes and systems.
  • Support external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior team members on financial analysis techniques and audit procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, with a focus on audit and financial analysis in relevant industry.
  • Proven experience in conducting financial audits and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of Singaporean financial regulations and standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
