Faststream has entered into a partnership with the A&P Group, a globally recognised ship repair & conversion specialist, to assist them in attracting the very best talent for their yards in the North East of the UK, Tyne & Tees.
For the Tyne yard, we are in search of a Fabrication Manager to manage, co-ordinate and expedite all aspects of the production management of all disciplines and functions within the fabrication facility. The Fabrication Manager will liaise with the on-site project teams ensuring all issues are captured, actioned and documented, they will oversee, monitor, maintain and report production progress to the Fabrication Director as well as Project Manager.
We are looking for a proven leader with exceptional managerial and communication skills with a strong track record adhering to HSEQ standards. You should have prior experience in a leadership position within a marine fabrication environment, holding an engineering degree would be highly advantageous.
