Job Description

The ideal candidate would be a qualified Engineer who wants to work within the marine industry or someone who may be working in a different industry but who has a passion for maritime affairs.
  
Job responsibilities:
- Handle warranty requests on new boats/vessels.
- Carry out daily routine checks to ensure vessels are in good working order.
- Troubleshooting any problems on the vessels.
- Carry out repairs or required installations on vessels.
- Reporting of any findings or work done.
- Commissioning of new equipment.
- Preparing timelines/schedules for servicing.
- Manage project timelines to ensure work is timely and within standards
- Order/ supply of new parts.
  
Job Requirements
  
- A recognized bachelor's degree or higher national diploma in Electrical Engineering or in Marine engineering.
- A passion for the maritime industry.
- Ability to identify, analyse and solve issues within a short time span.
- A multi-skilled and organized person.
- Excellent reporting skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Must have a driving license.
- License A and B are not a requirement but are considered an asset
- Having a boat license will be considered an asset
- Able to work under pressure and unsupervised
- Have a good working ethic and be a good team player.
