They are hoping for bold, determined and passionate people who can assist in driving training programmes internationally, if that is you, please consider the following requirements.

Positions:

  1. Deputy Head of Training – Philippines
  2. Deputy Head of Training – India and South Africa
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Programme management of training initiatives in their respective countries. Working in collaboration with the Head of Training to oversee current schemes, as well as implementing new programmes.
  • Supporting the Head of Training with financial management, including internal and external audits for the Philippines and potentially in future with India & South Africa.
  • Project management of any other new projects.
  • Representing the organisation on applicable industry bodies/projects/initiatives
  • Supporting the CEO and Head of Training in any other non-training related initiatives
  
Core Skills Desired:
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience in International Industry Engagement.
  • A keen interest in the direction of future technologies.
  
Experience:
  • Minimum OOW seatime experience as an engineer or deck officer.
  • Active or recent sailing experience.
  • Cargo vessel experience - preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including people management
  • Prior training experience, specifically with a focus on cadets - highly advantageous but not essential. 
  • Public speaking experience preferred but not essential.
