Positions:
- Deputy Head of Training – Philippines
- Deputy Head of Training – India and South Africa
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme management of training initiatives in their respective countries. Working in collaboration with the Head of Training to oversee current schemes, as well as implementing new programmes.
- Supporting the Head of Training with financial management, including internal and external audits for the Philippines and potentially in future with India & South Africa.
- Project management of any other new projects.
- Representing the organisation on applicable industry bodies/projects/initiatives
- Supporting the CEO and Head of Training in any other non-training related initiatives
Core Skills Desired:
- Experience in Quality Management Systems.
- Experience in International Industry Engagement.
- A keen interest in the direction of future technologies.
Experience:
- Minimum OOW seatime experience as an engineer or deck officer.
- Active or recent sailing experience.
- Cargo vessel experience - preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills including people management
- Prior training experience, specifically with a focus on cadets - highly advantageous but not essential.
- Public speaking experience preferred but not essential.
