Job holder is to handle all sales support and customer service activities of assigned Singapore accounts. The position will be based in Singapore.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Attend to inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, delivery surcharges and lead time
- Work with Sales to understand and execute pricing/Margin/ supply / payment and any assigned customer account related issues.
- Manage the order-to-delivery process to ensure smooth delivery, including
coordination with customer, Sales, global supply team, as well as local delivery agents
- Fulfill delivery requirements for orders, coping with changes in delivery requirements and provide professional advices in relation to local geographical conditions and supply limitations
- Order follow-up activities, including submission of delivery notes for invoicing , chase and monitor outstanding payment
- Maintain continuous and positive rapport with customers, monitor account
performance and any changes in assigned customer accounts
- Aware of and participate in maintaining and improving organization quality and environmental management system and process and the prescribed compliance obligations
- Understand organizational significant environmental aspects and related actual or potential environmental impacts associated with the work
Must-Have Criteria
- Full hands-on Order Management experience (Minimum 5 - 7 years)
- Excellent interaction capabilities and a proactive communicator
- Diploma level and above
- Proactive and takes initiatives to solve issues and deliver results
Desirable attributes
- He/ she needs to have good attitude and right expectation
- Customer service being frontline service employees, play a fundamental role in a company's assessment of service quality, her/his positive behaviors are highly correlated to customer overall satisfaction and influences customer perceptions of the service delivered
- Moreover, working in marine industry, ships are constantly moving yet have fixed schedule for port of call, he/she needs to have sense of urgency, response fast, be able to deliver 24/7 service
- He /she needs to have good time management, meticulous and methodical, be a good team player, ready to back up other team-mate's work anytime
Education and Experience
- Degree or Diploma holder in Supply Chain/Business/sales and marketing
- Minimum 5 - 7 years relevant working experience in sales support, supply chain or customer service
- Able to handle full cycle of order fulfilment and order management
- Experience in marine industry is an advantage, but not mandatory
- Strong in Excel and other MS office applications
- Self-motivated, confidence, ability to work independently and effective in communication
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken
