We are recruiting on behalf of a ship owner based in Germany and are currently seeking a skilled LPG Crewing Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the crew members on their LPG vessels.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate crewing activities for our LPG vessels.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with international and local regulations related to crewing.
  • Develop and maintain effective crewing policies and procedures.
  • Recruit and hire crew members as needed.
  • Monitor crew performance and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records related to crewing activities and personnel.
  • Ensure that all crew members are properly certified and trained for their respective roles.
  • Communicate effectively with vessel managers, crew members, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in maritime studies, logistics, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in crewing management, preferably in the LPG shipping industry.
  • Strong knowledge of international and local regulations related to crewing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and crew management software.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
