I am currently working closely with a Global Yacht Management Company, and have an exciting opportunity for a Crewing HR Manager to join their team. The position can be taken up in EITHER the USA - Fort Lauderdale or in the South of France in their Monaco office.  You must possess the relevant valid current Visa for either location and provide proof of your Visa status to progress to the interview stage. No sponsorship is offered.
 
As Crewing Manager you will be an integral part of the busy crewing team, working with both internal and external providers to ensure excellence in all departments on board. 

My client is searching for an experienced Crew HR Manager to develop and implement innovative talent acquisition, professional development and performance management strategies for their elite fleet of managed superyachts.
  
You will also be responsible for creating and developing policies and procedures to support onboard culture, as well as provide expert guidance on a variety of Crew HR matters.
  
You are an experienced HR professional who values diplomacy and confidentiality when overseeing sensitive crew HR matters and your excellent communication skills will serve you well in fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Clients, Crew, and the internal Team.
  
You will also be a key sustainability ambassador for the company, driving the company’s initiatives, with a particular focus on DEI and crew wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will have: 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented, you are meticulous and thorough in your approach
  • You are thorough with a keen eye for detail and are comfortable handling a wide range of data
  • You maintain high standards of confidentiality and objectivity
Qualifications
  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology or similar
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a relevant role within the Maritime industry
