We are seeking passionate individuals to transform and shape the future with game-changing net-zero technology. This opportunity is for a highly skilled and experienced Configuration Engineer.

The Role-
The Configuration Engineer plays a key role in managing and controlling the configuration of their Floating Nuclear Power Plant Design. This position operates within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment, supporting the integration of IV Generation Nuclear Reactor technologies onto floating platforms.

The role requires a strong engineering foundation, with a focus on design documentation control, facilitation of Gate Reviews, and adherence to configuration management processes. 
    
Key Responsibilities:
    
·         Responsible for configuring all design packages related to the Floating Nuclear Power Plant Design.
·         Responsible for managing design registers – Open Items, Non Conformances, Interface Sheets, Design Changes, etc.
·         Liaising with stakeholder; designers, classification societies, regulators, nuclear technology developers to manage design configuration against evolving requirements.
·         Authoring Design Review Reports.
·         Supporting the Principal Marine Engineer and Naval Architect with the integration of a Floating Nuclear Power Plant.
    
The Person-
 
·         BEng in Engineering or equivalent.
·         5 years’ experience in the nuclear and / or marine industry.
    
Required Skills / Experience:
·         Direct experience in multidisciplinary design projects in the Nuclear and / or Marine industry.
·         Experience managing design documentation.
·         Experience managing design registers.
·         Excellent Organisational skills.
·         Experience using Electronic Document Management Systems
·         Comfortable with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, preferably SolidWorks and / or AutoCAD.
·         Able to articulate technical issues in a clear concise way.
·         Good understanding of design management.
·         Excellent project management and organisational skills.
·         Willingness to support general documentation management efforts.
·         Experience with Design reviews.
