Location: Singapore

Key Responsibilities:

Lead chartering activities across spot, COA, and time charter fixtures, ensuring alignment with contracts, strategy, and internal frameworks
Serve as the primary commercial liaison for assigned vessels, charterers, brokers, and vessel managers
Monitor vessel utilisation, hire performance, off-hire events, and commercial KPIs, providing actionable insights and forecasts
Negotiate, review, and manage charter party agreements and related documentation
Contribute to fleet deployment planning, new projects, and operational decision-making
Conduct market analysis, freight benchmarking, and competitor monitoring to support strategy
Assess commercial risks and propose mitigation measures to protect performance

Requirements:

5 years’ experience in commercial or chartering roles in shipping; tanker experience preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commercially astute mindset connecting operations to financial outcomes
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to operate independently
