As a Commercial Associate, you will play a crucial role in the asset management for a fleet of LNG carriers, working closely with Charterers, Shareholders, Technical Managers, and internal support teams. Your responsibilities will include overseeing project budgets, conducting high-level marine and operational analysis, managing commercial contracts, and ensuring compliance with all agreements.
You will act as the owners representative for a fleet of LNG carriers on long-term charter, administering project budgets and liaising with ship managers. You will provide operational input for contractual compliance, manage and resolve commercial disputes to protect owner interests, and ensure effective governance and compliance of all commercial and ship management contracts. Additionally, you will prepare and organize reports for stakeholders, including the Board of Directors and Shareholders, and support insurance claims management and financial provisions.
Ideally, you will have a degree in maritime operations, business, or law, and familiarity with commercial shipping operations, especially LNG, LPG, and oil.
Experience with tanker time charter and shipbuilding contractual terms is desirable.
You will have strong communication, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills, excellent organizational and data analytical skills, and advanced Excel proficiency to handle large financial data.
