The CFO will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health and stability of the company. As CFO, you will be responsible for monitoring the overall cash flow of the organization and implementing strategies to control finances effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance to ensure the company's financial health.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with executive team members to drive financial strategy and support business decision-making.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties as required.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation decisions to maximize shareholder value.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and auditors.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior financial management role, preferably in the shipping or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and financial analysis techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make sound financial decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
