Faststream is recruiting for a Chartering Operator specialised in dry bulk for an ambitious, forward-thinking ship operator. With the company thriving in the market comes company growth.
You will be sitting within the small, tight-knit team in Dubai, chartering in vessels from your connections to ship owners and competitively chartering in and out into the market. You will be in charge of the vessel's life cycle from every aspect within pre and post-fixture. Using your connections, you will have the freedom within this role to negotiate and run your desk as you would your own business, profiting both yourself and the company.
Offering an appealing base salary with a competitive commission structure experience-dependent.
Do you have experience in competitive chartering in and out, ship operations, laytime/claims within the dry bulk sector? Do you have an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive on seeing the business succeed on the back of your work? Do you have ship-owning contacts (preferably within Turkey or China) that you can bring with you to this role?
