Job Description

I am working exclusively with an established Yacht Management Company to appoint a Charter Management Assistant to join the Charter Management Department in their office in the South of France. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual possessing previous work experience in a Yachting Company.

The Charter Management Assistant is responsible for a large variety of administrative tasks including:
  • Assisting charter managers in financial matters
  • Taking minutes at departmental meetings
  • Working closely with internal departments such as Accounts & Marketing
  • Assisting in the creation of weekly, monthly and annual reports
  • Updating the website
  • Assisting with all client/general correspondence and enquiries
  • Management of client and yacht files
  • Assisting with charter show arrangements
  • Sharing in general office duties and covering reception
  • Assisting with travel plans as required ( hotels, flights and transfers )
 The ideal candidate will have:
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
  • A high degree of computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat & Photoshop
  • Fluency in French and English ( written & spoken )
  • Ability to prioritise and complete time sensitive tasks
  • A high degree of attention to detail, capable of checking/ recording information accurately
  • Self-motivated, able to solve problems and manage their own time
  • Competent with numeracy
  • Absolute discretion and confidentiality
Desirable but not essential:
  • Experience working on yachts
  • Additional languages such as Spanish or Italian
  • An interest in creative design
This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work for a leading global superyacht brokerage business.  
Candidates must have the existing legal status to work in Monaco and reside in the region i.e. Monaco, Antibes or Nice. No sponsorship will be offered as part of this position.
