We are recruiting for a Chartering Manager to support Capesize commercial activities and new business initiatives, particularly in decarbonisation and alternative fuels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle chartering activities including time/voyage charters, COAs, and FFA trades for Capesize vessels.
- Analyse freight markets, manage vessel schedules, and optimise fleet utilisation.
- Lead and support new business development projects related to decarbonisation (e.g., LNG, ammonia, methanol, biofuels).
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders globally to drive project success and profitability.
- Degree holder with at least 5 years of experience in shipping, including 3 years in chartering and dry bulk operations (Capesize preferred).
- Knowledge of maritime regulations, fuel trends, and decarbonisation strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen, project management capabilities, and a proactive mindset.
