An international LNG-focused organisation is seeking a Business Development professional to support growth across floating LNG infrastructure and related solutions. The role is based in Singapore and sits within a regional commercial team working across Asia and the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify commercial opportunities in the LNG and FSRU space through market research and industry engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders across multiple regions.
- Lead or support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation, tender participation, and early-stage project evaluation.
- Contribute to the development of commercial strategies and assess potential market entry pathways.
- Support negotiations on commercial terms and assist in structuring agreements for LNG-related projects.
- Collaborate with technical, operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment on project requirements.
- Degree in business, finance, engineering, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are beneficial.
- Several years of experience in energy, shipping, maritime, or offshore sectors, ideally involving LNG or floating infrastructure.
- Strong commercial instincts, with experience analysing opportunities and engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable with financial assessments and capable of presenting technical or commercial information clearly.
- Effective communicator with solid relationship-building skills, especially across international and multicultural environments.
- Able to manage multiple priorities with a structured, solutions-driven approach.
- Additional language capability is an advantage.
