Faststream is partnering a global maritime technology provider in the search for a Business Development Manager.

About the Role
This is a high-growth, revenue-driving role for a proven Maritime SaaS sales professional who thrives on winning new business, owning targets and building scalable commercial growth across the region.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-moving environment. You must be strong in new business origination, commercially sharp, and obsessive about building a structured sales funnel. This role requires someone meticulous, organised, and disciplined in managing pipelines, CRM activities, and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business acquisition across APAC through proactive outreach, prospecting, networking, and market mapping.
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with commercial objectives and growth plans.
  • Build a strong, well-qualified pipeline through consistent hunting activity and rigorous CRM discipline.
  • Conduct high-impact client meetings, product demos, and solution-based pitches tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer success following deal closure.
  • Track sales metrics, forecast revenues, and maintain accurate reporting of activities and opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client engagements to strengthen market presence.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years in B2B sales, preferably in maritime, logistics, technology, or related sectors.
  • A proven hunter with a track record of winning new logos and consistently exceeding targets.
  • Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial streak — someone who sees opportunities where others see barriers.
  • Sharp commercial instincts, excellent negotiation skills, and confidence navigating complex stakeholder environments.
  • Highly organised, meticulous with CRM data, and structured in managing priorities and follow-ups.
  • Strong communicator capable of delivering compelling pitches and building long-term relationships.
  • APAC regional exposure; ability to travel as required.
