We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asia region. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead business development initiatives for marine and offshore services, focusing on new client acquisition, key account growth, and long-term partnerships.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, contributing to strategic plans aligned with regional and global objectives.
  • Develop tailored proposals and commercial offers that address client needs while maintaining profitability and compliance.
  • Build and nurture C-suite relationships across shipowners, shipyards, oil & gas operators, and regulatory authorities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, legal, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and service delivery.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, promoting its expertise and reputation in assurance and risk management.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform business strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
What You’ll Bring
  • 5–10 years of experience in business development or commercial management, ideally within marine, offshore, energy, or industrial services.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing sales strategies and client engagement plans that drive measurable growth.
  • Strong understanding of marine and offshore regulatory frameworks, classification, and risk advisory services within Malaysia and the broader SEA market.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, capable of engaging senior decision-makers and influencing outcomes.
  • Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance risk and reward in complex contracts.
  • Independent, results-oriented, and adaptable in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
