Faststream Recruitment have partnered with a growing safety and survival company and we are looking for a skilled Business Development Manager.
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate who will be instrumental in driving global business growth. The role will involve interacting with the internal sales team to provide quotes and transact with customers, with a primary responsibility for delivering year-on-year growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee business development activities and the delivery of new customer growth plans.
  • Define key win themes to attract new customers in key market sectors (Cruise, Expedition, Commercial Marine, Yacht Events, Emergency Services, and Military Markets).
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders within the company to achieve sustainable growth and excellent customer service.
  • Report regularly on the current and future pipeline to the Managing Director and the VP of Marine Sales.
  • Conduct and report regular competitor analysis.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience within the marine or medical industry.
  • Knowledge of UK, EU, and international standards, compliance, and regulations.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel, including overseas, as required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative.
  • Skilled in building relationships and working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data to identify market trends and customer behavior.
