Job Description



We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager with deep commercial insight and a strong background in the energy shipping sector—particularly in NGL's. In this high-impact role, you’ll be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing commercial opportunities that align with the organization’s long-term strategy. This includes everything from short-term charters to major investment and partnership projects.

This role requires someone who thrives in international markets, brings a strategic mindset to growth initiatives, and can confidently navigate complex negotiations. You'll build a strong pipeline of opportunities while working closely with executive leadership, cross-functional teams, and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Commercial Growth: Develop new market opportunities in NGL shipping segments, focusing on strategic partnerships, asset utilization, and potential acquisitions.
  • Strategic Insight: Analyze industry trends, competitor movements, and market dynamics to shape growth strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to unlock long-term business value.
  • Deal Structuring: Lead negotiations, prepare and review commercial documents (e.g., term sheets, charter agreements, NDAs), and coordinate due diligence processes.
  • Project Management: Oversee tender processes and proposals, ensuring alignment with safety, performance, and financial objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across departments to deliver robust commercial proposals and ensure smooth execution of complex initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven commercial track record in NGL, LPG, or related energy shipping sectors
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to convert insights into actionable business plans
  • Strong deal-making and negotiation skills; experience managing complex contracts
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures
  • Self-starter with strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism and ability to thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Maritime Studies, or a related field
  • Comfortable with travel and working in a global business environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant business tools
