Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our client in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding market presence in the region. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the maritime industry and a proven track record in business development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Acquisition: Develop and implement effective strategies to attract new clients and expand our customer base.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery and effective promotion of our services.
  • Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and close deals with prospective clients.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on business development activities, progress, and performance against targets.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the maritime industry, preferably in ship agency services.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Network: Well-established network within the maritime industry in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
