We are exclusively partnering with a leading global manufacturer of marine paints and protective coatings to hire an Assistant Sales Manager for its Singapore team.

This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with 2-4 years of experience in B2B technical sales within the marine, coatings, or industrial solutions sector.

The successful candidate will support key customer accounts, drive new business development, and position sustainable, value-added coating solutions to shipowners, shipyards, and fleet management companies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support sales strategy execution across Singapore and assigned regional markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, ship managers, and shipyards.
  • Identify business opportunities, prepare proposals, and participate in tender activities.
  • Conduct product presentations and solution-based technical discussions with customers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to guide sales planning.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and project updates for management.
What We're Looking For
  • 2–4 years of experience in technical B2B sales, preferably within marine, coatings, industrial chemicals, or related engineered solutions.
  • A proactive problem-solver who enjoys working with customers to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple customer accounts.
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or equivalent preferred.
