Then this is the position for you!

We are currently seeking a motivated individual for a position in Schiedam. As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in achieving budgetary targets and expanding market share for service and after-sales solutions related to diesel engines and turbochargers.

Your responsibilities will involve acquiring new clients, nurturing existing relationships, handling customer inquiries, negotiating service contracts, and selling parts to drive revenue growth.

Your Role:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for assigned accounts to achieve short and long-term revenue growth in alignment with company objectives.
  • Promote and sell components, upgrade systems, technical services, and similar packages for engines and turbochargers
  • Coordinate with functional groups and various levels of employees globally to achieve results professionally.
  • Meet annual sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, building and managing client relationships to boost sales
  • Follow up on sales quotations, negotiate with customers, and conduct planned visits based on company processes
  • Collaborate closely with ship owners, vessel management companies, and provide technical support in coordination with the technical department
  • Recommend actions to enhance sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Identify competitors in each application and project, including their local representatives
About You:
  • You will have a background in Marine or Mechanical Engineering
  • You will have experience in Maritime Sales
  • Proven ability to thrive in a sales environment as a hunter
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexibly as a team member.
  • Positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong negotiating skills and customer orientation
  • Willingness to travel
  • Proficient in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
