On Tuesday, the 16th of September, Faststream Recruitment will be hosting our Global Leaders in Maritime Breakfast Conference, part of London International Shipping Week. This is an exclusive event dedicated to insights and strategies addressing the most important people issues in the maritime sector.

The conference will bring together a group of senior-level maritime executives to engage in a transformative discussion about the current and future workforce of our industry. Our goal is to address the most important people issues in the maritime sector.

She brings with her a wide spectrum of knowledge and expertise in corporate human capital development practices. These range from aligning talent acquisition, organisation development, culture and change management strategies to the formulation of diversity and inclusion & wellbeing initiatives, HR strategies and policies that support the delivery of business strategy and goals.

Philip Fullerton joined Northern Marine in 1995 at the time of the StenTex transition between Stena and Texaco after completing an Engineering Cadetship with Texaco Overseas Tankships Limited. He progressed through the sailing ranks from Fourth Engineer to Chief Engineer within the Northern Marine fleet, sailing on various types of tankers.

Philip joined the office staff as Superintendent in 2002 initially working within the tanker ship groups, then progressed through a number of positions in Ship Management relating to fleet, projects and new building activities.

In 2012 a wider involvement in the Services businesses were added to Ship Management leadership. Philip was appointed Managing Director in 2017.

Richard has over 30 years’ experience across several business sectors (Maritime Nuclear Energy, Marine Services, Oil & Gas, Mining, Rail Engineering and FMCG).

Richard holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Natal, South Africa. He has lived and worked in a number of different countries in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

Terry Gidlow is the Chief Executive Officer of Noatum Maritime Services, a part of Abu Dhabi Ports Group. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, he has over 30 years of experience in the maritime industry spanning shipping and commodities.

His career has included leadership roles in both public and private companies across Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Europe, where he has built and managed multinational organisations. His areas of specialisation include general management, strategy, mergers and acquisitions and business development.

He has enhanced his knowledge through extensive executive education programmes at Wharton, Berkeley, and Stanford Universities
