Meet some of the Northern Marine Group Team

As one of a dozen highly-experienced Fleet Managers, Kenny Fraser oversees a skilled team of Technical Superintendents each providing specialist management and round the clock support to the crews aboard their designated vessels.

"Working in ship management, each day is different. The onshore and offshore workforce must work together to achieve the high standards expected at Northern Marine. This is a challenge we all relish."

As Personnel Officer, Marina Falevich works closely with our seafarers, providing assistance in recruitment, logistics, training or certification.

"I really enjoy working with my colleagues onshore and the seafarers we support. We are a highly focused team, dedicated to ensuring that the personnel requirements are delivered efficiently and effectively."

As Logistics Manager, Fadli Tuah works in Northern Marine's Marine Supply service at its 126,000 sqft Singapore warehouse.

"The only way to do great work is to have passion and enjoy what you do. My ambition is to grow with Northern Marine, where I can continue to learn and contribute as much value as possible to my team."

As one of many Superintendents at Northern Marine, Ryan Scoular holds an integral role in the ship management operational structure. Liaising closely with the vessel’s onboard Senior Management Team on a daily basis, and regularly visiting the vessels, Ryan ensures the safe and effective management of his designated vessel.

Moving ashore from Engineer to Superintendent allowed me to experience another interesting role within the industry. As Superintendent, it is critical that we have a thorough understanding of operations onboard, and the equipment being used. Having worked on vessels as a senior engineer, I understand the work our colleagues onboard undertake on a daily basis, which creates great trust between us.

As Principle Naval Architect, Dr Qiuxin Gao is a member of a highly skilled team of specialists in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics, supporting our ship-owner clients with innovative solutions.

"At Northern Marine, we are given the opportunity to test accepted ways of thinking and create innovatively. This is a working environment in which we are given the tools to flourish."

As a Safety Instructor, Susi Rumpel prepares seafarers and offshore workers for every eventuality. As a fully qualified diver, Susi utilises Northern Marine's Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) simulator to deliver industry-leading training.

"We provide training delegates with the right skills and knowledge they will need in the event of an emergency situation. Therefore, during every single training session, we remain vigilant and on full alert to ensure the highest safety standards are maintained."
