We are currently partnering with a leading global marine fuels and services business to recruit a pivotal commercial leadership role within their Yachts division.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced yachts industry professional to take ownership of global market development, drive commercial performance, and lead a high‑performing trading team.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will be responsible for expanding the organisation’s market share across key yachting hubs worldwide, strengthening brand visibility, and nurturing long‑term, profitable relationships with Captains and suppliers globally — including in the US and Caribbean. You’ll play a central part in shaping and executing the strategic business plan, while carrying a strong awareness of commercial risk, credit exposure, and payment performance.
This position suits someone passionate about the Yachts sector, commercially sharp, and highly relationship‑driven.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation and execution of a strategic business plan focused on marketing, brand visibility, and growth within core Yachts markets.
  • Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with Captains and suppliers across multiple regions.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider European Yachts team to ensure efficient sharing of market intelligence and customer insights.
  • Work alongside senior leadership to design and deliver effective short‑ and long‑term business strategies.
  • Maintain a proactive risk management approach, ensuring all customers and suppliers are appropriately vetted and monitored in collaboration with the Credit team.
  • Stay up to date with global yachts market developments through industry publications, networking and market research.
Skills, Experience & Attributes
  • Strong experience within the yacht industry.
  • Fluent English is essential; additional languages are a bonus.
  • High computer literacy, including MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Deep understanding of the global Yachts market across multiple regions.
  • Well‑established relationships and networks within the yachting community, especially among Captains.
  • Proven experience in developing strategies to grow market presence and market share.
  • Results‑driven leader with the ability to motivate and energise teams in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Confident communicator with exceptional verbal and written skills.
  • Persuasive negotiator able to think quickly and influence effectively.
  • Highly customer‑focused, with strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to build trust.
  • Strong commercial acumen with analytical and problem‑solving strengths.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure.
  • Adaptable, flexible and able to respond quickly to shifting priorities.
  • Culturally aware and confident engaging across diverse, international markets.
