The Vessel Superintendent will join the team in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of our tanker fleet with the other Marine and Vessel Superintendents.
This is not an expat position and you should be already based in Brazil.
The ideal candidate will possess a Class 1 Chief Engineer license and bring extensive technical knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of safety and performance.
Qualifications:
- Class 1 Chief Engineer license (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Superintendent in the tanker industry or extensive sea time on Oil/Chemical Tankers.
- In-depth knowledge of international maritime regulations, industry guidelines, and class society requirements.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
