The Company

A leading international shipping business is seeking a Vessel Manager to join their London team. With a modern fleet of dry cargo vessels, the company sets high standards in safe, compliant, and cost-efficient ship management.

The Role

As Vessel Manager, you’ll take ownership of the full technical management of your assigned vessels. This includes:

Budgeting and cost control
Planned maintenance system oversight
Coordination of dry dockings (not attending in person)
Inspections, surveys, and audits
Ensuring compliance with class, flag, and industry standards
Providing day to day technical support to the Master and Chief Engineer

You’ll be the key link between ship and shore, ensuring vessels are always operating at their best technically, safely, and commercially.

About You

Chief Engineer sailing experience, with a proven track record as a Technical Superintendent or similar shore role
Strong grasp of budgets, dry docking projects, and the commercial realities of vessel operations
A proactive and solutions driven mindset, with the ability to balance operational and commercial priorities
