Your role will involve fostering strong relationships with potential and existing members, managing underwriting matters, identifying loss prevention needs, and ensuring smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate relationships with potential and current members.
- Manage underwriting tasks in assigned areas according to company protocols.
- Identify opportunities for loss prevention initiatives.
- Provide coverage in the Syndicate Manager's absence.
- Ensure consistency in underwriting practices.
- Contribute to refining company procedures and systems.
- Delegate tasks to assistants and executives.
- Undertake any additional tasks within your abilities as needed.
- Participate in training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Significant experience in P&I, either with a P&I Club or broker, required.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Organized and methodical approach to work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
