Job Description

Join a dynamic operations team supporting the global Capesize fleet! In this role, you will assist the Manager/General Manager in the smooth execution of Capesize operations across international trade routes. You'll work with both conventional fuel vessels (HSFO/LSFO) and new-generation fuel types like LNG, ammonia, methanol, and biofuels—making adaptability and a strong learning mindset essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end post-fixture operations for assigned Capesize vessels
  • Voyage planning, performance monitoring & port coordination
  • Maintain strong communication with charterers, owners, brokers & agents
  • Handle laytime, hire statements, claims, and P&L voyage analysis
  • Support decarbonization initiatives and ensure RightShip compliance
Requirements:
  • Degree holder with 5+ years of dry bulk or similar shipping ops experience
  • Strong grasp of charter party terms, MARPOL, IMO regulations, and operational budgeting
  • Proficient in IMOS and MS Office
  • Sharp communicator, collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
