The Role: As a Specialist within Marine Design, you will be a vital part of one of the fastest expanding Marine Design Departments in our organization. You will be responsible for research and technological development for future submarine capabilities. This thrilling role offers the opportunity to work on submarines throughout all stages of the product lifecycle. You will interact with a wide range of stakeholder groups and industrial partners, and will have opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearheading research and technological advancements for upcoming submarine capabilities
- Identifying areas of improvement and necessities for research and development
- Collaborating with various stakeholders and research institutions, including academic establishments
- Degree in Naval Architecture or similar
- Professional registration such as Chartership status
- Background in Technological advancement or research
- Familiarity with submarines
