This includes preparing maintenance plans, monitoring maintenance work, evaluating maintenance standards, managing surveys and certificates, addressing incidents and accidents, preparing for inspections and dry dockings, maintaining vessel plans and manuals, overseeing insurance repairs, arranging for spares and supplies, budgeting, ensuring environmental and safety standards, conducting vessel visits, coordinating activities between vessels and the office, monitoring daily performance, implementing company objectives, managing marine casualties, and appraising onboard crew for the assigned vessel.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must hold Chief Engineer’s Certificate of Competency.
- Minimum 2 years LNG/LPG sailing experience at management level or minimum 2 years superintendent experience.
- Good understanding of Dual Fuel Engines, LNG Cargo containment and handling system.
