Job Description

My client is a leading vessel owner operator based in the Republic of Ireland. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to bring on a Technical Superintendent to support the Technical department.

In this role you will be fully responsible for technical operation of the assigned vessels. You will liaise with clients on all technical and operational matters, such as vessel performance etc. You will be required to attend dry docks and provide technical assistance to all the ships both at home and overseas. In addition, you will work closely with QSHE to ensure successful implementation of the QSHE system.
  
 The ideal candidate for this role will have the following:-
  
  • Class 1 Chief Engineer Unlimited COC
  • Shore based experience in a similar role
OR
  • Be a sea going Chief Engineer with proven dry-dock experience
  • Project management experience desirable
  • Ability to design, implement and manage projects successfully to finalisation
To be considered for this role, candidates will need to hold the existing right to live and work in the EU and to be based permanently in the south of the Republic of Ireland.
