The role will be 3 days a week with 2 in the office and 1 from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Execution: Use technical safety engineering expertise to execute project tasks, including risk assessments, safety case development, and consequence modeling.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to UK safety regulations and industry standards.
- Safety Reviews: Facilitate and contribute to safety reviews such as HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, and ENVID.
- Project Reporting: Produce detailed engineering proposals, schedules, and reports as required.
- Client Communication: Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and safety objectives are achieved.
- Education: Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related field).
- Experience: Strong in technical safety engineering, with experience in operations and maintenance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in risk assessments, safety case management, and consequence modeling (e.g., PHAST software).
- Certifications: Relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH) are preferred.
