Faststream have partnered with an international organisation who are leaders in providing specialist maritime services to a range of clients globally. They have a strong base of clients across APAC and are now looking to expand their reach and open an office in Singapore.
They are looking for a Technical Officer to join the company's pioneer team in Singapore, to assist in offering day-to-day technical support and to enable and drive the efficient and high-quality delivery of technical services to their clients across the region.
For this role you will be liaising with surveyors who are carrying out a range of surveys as per client requirements. You will be processing, reviewing, re-writing and quality checking final survey reports.
You will also be the first point of contact for surveyor queries and will be expected to provide technical support to them, and clients, when necessary. You will also be contributing to surveyor feedback and supporting surveyor performance standards, to help drive continuous improvement where possible.
Due to the technical nature of this position the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of sailing experience on either deck or engine side. Those who also have shore-based work experience will be held in high regard.
