Faststream have partnered with a diverse, international organization in the search for a Marine Surveyor to join their team in China.
Our clients are a leading global classification society who establish and maintain technical standards for the construction and operation of ships and offshore structures.
You will be carrying out class and statutory surveys on New Construction related survey work in specific shipyards. This position is primarily focused on marine vessels to include LNG/Gas Carrier, Container Ships, Tankers, and Bulk Carriers, as well as smaller vessel types as needed.
They are looking for a motivated and independent thinker who ideally has a sound foundation of survey training and practical experience with vessels in service. Has the ability to read engineering plans and has a good understanding of shipbuilding practices and vessel operations.
