Job Description

We are recruiting for a leading global O&G business a Supply Chain Specialist for a 6-month contract, working full time in their Houston office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team and support the end-to-end supply chain function within a dynamic and fast-paced maritime or industrial environment.

You must currently have the right to live and work in the US and be available to start work at short notice. 

You will play a key role in supporting procurement, logistics coordination, inventory control, and supplier relationship management—all while driving cost-efficiency and compliance across the supply chain lifecycle.

The Role: What You’ll Be Doing Procurement & Contract Management
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contract terms, and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Liaise with internal legal teams and stakeholders to review and execute supply agreements.
  • Utilize ERP and contract management systems for sourcing and supplier oversight.
Inventory & Logistics Coordination
  • Assist in tracking stock levels, managing goods receipts, and coordinating with storekeepers.
  • Support logistics by arranging shipments and monitoring delivery timelines.
  • Work closely with freight forwarders and carriers to streamline transportation and minimize delays.
Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement
  • Conduct vendor vetting, onboarding, and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure demand forecasts align with procurement activities.
  • Provide operational support for purchase order adjustments, invoice reconciliation, and goods tracking.
Process & Compliance
  • Support ongoing improvements in supply chain processes to enhance productivity and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, industry regulations, and international trade laws.
