Faststream have partnered with a large, dynamic international organization who specialize in providing a range of crucial services to the maritime industry. They have excellent brand equity in the market and are able to provide stable growth to employees throughout the business. 

The Global Key Account Manager is a senior role within the organization and is responsible for maximizing retention and developing and delivering growth strategies from assigned, significant clients of the business. 

You will be required to gain in-depth insight into your client base by identifying critical contacts across their business globally, and then developing strong trusted partnerships with these key figures by providing value and solutions-based services.

You will be the bridge between the company and the client, helping them to understand the market, what their future business needs may be and thus helping them to meet their strategic objectives globally. 

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and negotiator, with significant understand of business strategy development and implementation. 

You will have a flexible mindset, being able to visualize solutions to complex and unfamiliar situations across the business landscape. 

Due to the technical nature of the services this company provides, the ideal candidate will come from a technical background within shipping. Those who have sailed on either deck or engine side, and worked within a shipping company, will be held in high regard.
