Our client, a world leader in hospitality and travel, is searching for a Global Head of Inventory Controls to spearhead one of the most critical cost-saving initiatives in the company’s history. This role sits at the heart of the company’s Maritime Asset Strategy Transformation (MAST) program—a multi-year initiative designed to unlock major efficiencies and value. You’ll be the go-to voice for inventory control, ensuring alignment across global teams, holding leaders accountable, and turning strategy into measurable results.
What You’ll Do
- Set the course: Define the global vision for inventory controls and align it with company-wide priorities.
- Lead & inspire: Build and mentor a high-performing team while influencing senior leaders across brands.
- Drive results: Oversee shipboard and shoreside initiatives to deliver real cost savings.
- Create standards: Establish global governance, training, and certification for inventory excellence.
- Accelerate change: Champion best practices, measure outcomes, and drive accountability.
- Partner globally: Collaborate with IT, Safety, Audit, and operations teams to enhance visibility, automation, and compliance.
- Proven leadership: 15+ years in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management, with 10+ years in senior leadership.
- Strategic vision: Experience driving complex, enterprise-wide supply chain initiatives.
- Technical expertise: Deep knowledge of forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization.
- Global mindset: Success working across regions and balancing local needs with enterprise priorities.
- Influence & impact: Skilled at aligning stakeholders, managing change, and holding senior leaders accountable.
- Credentials: Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred. Supply chain certifications (ASCM/APICS) are a plus.
