Faststream are working with a large Owner and Operator of LPG services globally. Our client have a fleet of LPG carriers and a number of receiving terminals in India and Africa with associated distribution networks. As part of their growth strategy for Africa, our client is looking for a Managing Director to take charge of their onshore operations and business growth across the East Africa region.
The Managing Director (East Africa) will be reporting into the overall Africa Director and be responsible for the identification of future business opportunities in the region as well as investment opportunities.
You will support the Africa MD in the development of commercial strategies for growth within the LPG market across East Africa. You will be working closely with an international team of Finance Managers to ensure reporting is accurate and consistent with company strategies including procurement and sourcing strategies.
Successful candidates will have significant experience across commercial operations, finance and investment opportunities within the energy or commodities sector. Knowledge of East Africa is essential and candidates should ideally have experience involving terminals or product distribution via rail or truck. We are looking for a strategic thinker who is willing and able to travel around East Africa.
