We are seeking an experienced Specialised Tanker Broker to join our Tanker desk in the Singapore office. This position is ideal for a professional with 2-3 years of experience who is highly motivated, driven, and has a strong network of chartering and owning clients. Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Collaboration and Development:
    • Work closely with a dynamic team of brokers to expand the Tanker desk.
    • Actively contribute to growing the client base by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
    • Engage in strategic planning and execution to enhance the team's market presence.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Deliver exceptional client service through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and email communications.
    • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing market insights and updates.
  • Deal Facilitation and Execution:
    • Facilitate and negotiate deals between various parties, ensuring smooth transactions.
    • Co-broker with teammates to maximize deal opportunities and outcomes.
    • Manage the end-to-end process of deal execution, from initial contact to closing.
  • Market Data and Information Coordination:
    • Collect and analyze market data to provide accurate and timely information.
    • Assist in coordinating and managing information within our bespoke technology system.
    • Utilize market insights to inform business strategies and client advisories.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in broking, with a focus on the specialised  tanker market.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Strong network within the chartering/owning client sector.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive, motivated, and results-driven with a passion for success.
