Key Responsibilities:
- Team Collaboration and Development:
- Work closely with a dynamic team of brokers to expand the Tanker desk.
- Actively contribute to growing the client base by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Engage in strategic planning and execution to enhance the team's market presence.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Deliver exceptional client service through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and email communications.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing market insights and updates.
- Deal Facilitation and Execution:
- Facilitate and negotiate deals between various parties, ensuring smooth transactions.
- Co-broker with teammates to maximize deal opportunities and outcomes.
- Manage the end-to-end process of deal execution, from initial contact to closing.
- Market Data and Information Coordination:
- Collect and analyze market data to provide accurate and timely information.
- Assist in coordinating and managing information within our bespoke technology system.
- Utilize market insights to inform business strategies and client advisories.
- 2-3 years of experience in broking, with a focus on the specialised tanker market.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
- Strong network within the chartering/owning client sector.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Proactive, motivated, and results-driven with a passion for success.
