Job Title: Senior Manager - Shore Excursions Operations

Job Purpose:

As the Senior Manager for Shore Excursions Operations, you'll be overseeing the product development process and operations. Your responsibilities include strategic planning, selecting tour operators through bids, and ensuring operational quality in specific regions. Leading the Product Development and Corporate Shore Excursions Manager teams, you'll develop strategies, products, and onboard operations to enhance guest experiences and comply with regulations.

Key Accountabilities:

Product Management & Development:
  • Supervise the selection of local operators through bids for optimal cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Monitor shore excursions' performance to improve customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with teams to set selling prices and control costs for budgeted revenue targets.
  • Ensure shore excursions programs align with company requirements.
Operation Handling:
  • Lead operational processes between shoreside and onboard teams.
  • Communicate with ships, operators, and offices to resolve issues like guest accidents, service problems, or changes in port of call.
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience, with a focus on cruise management.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (Italian, Spanish, French, or German) is a plus.
  • Effective management skills in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in planning, coaching, organizing, staffing, controlling, and evaluating.
  • Advanced computer software skills, including Microsoft Office tools.
  • 30% travel time required.
